§ 11-1. Speed limits—Generally

The maximum legal speed limit for all vehicles is fifty-five (55) miles per hour on all roads in the parish, except those roads which have a fixed legal maximum speed limit of less than fifty-five (55) miles per hour, which shall include, without limitation, the following:

All parish roads not otherwise marked, thirty-five (35) miles per hour.

P.R. No. 109 (Calvin Tyler Road) fifteen (15) miles per hour.

P.R. No. 117 (Cormane Road), a dead-end street originating at SR 504 and extending in a westerly direction for one-quarter of a mile, twenty-five (25) miles per hour.

P.R. No. 118 (Lee Godwin Road) twenty-five (25) miles per hour

P.R. No. 121 (Government Road) for the first two (2) miles twenty-five (25) miles per hour;

For the remaining portion to the incorporated limits of the Village of Ashland, forty-five (45) miles per hour.

P.R. No. 134 (Frances Street), a dead-end street originating at Highway No. 6, twenty-five (25) miles per hour.

P.R. No. 134 (Lizzie Smith Road) fifteen (15) miles per hour.

P.R. No. 141 (Fish Hatchery Road) from the city limits of Natchitoches, Louisiana to its intersection with P.R. No. 142 (Lateral Road), forty-five (45) miles per hour.

P.R. No. 146 (Blanchard Road), connecting St. Maurice Lane and Louisiana Highway No. 494, thirty-five (35) miles per hour.

P.R. No. 175 (Ernie Gibbs Road), originating at Louisiana Highway No. 1 and extending in a northwesterly direction for five and three quarters (5¾) miles, forty-five (45) miles per hour; provided that the speed limit is twenty-five (25) miles per hour in three (3) hazardous areas of said road which shall be identified by speed limit signs.
