§ 11-5. Same—Over five tons

Latest version.

(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a vehicle having a gross weight in excess of five (5) tons on the following parish roads:

P.R. No. 162 (Brick Plant Road), lying west of the Texas and Pacific Railroad tracks.

P. R. 407 (Clark Road), Clark Road Bridge at Bayou Bourbeaux.

(b) Nothing in this section shall prohibit or prevent the police jury's issuing a permit for the use of said roads by overweight vehicles.
