Under and by virtue of the authority conferred by Sub-part A, Part I, Chapter 9, Section 33:3881 et seq., of the Louisiana Revised Statutes, and other constitutional
and statutory authority supplemental thereto, a sewerage district is created within
the parish and shall be composed entirely of territory outside the corporate limits
of any municipality. Said district shall include, comprise and embrace all of that
territory within the following described boundaries: Beginning at a point on the southwest
corner of the corporate limits of the City of Natchitoches, Louisiana, at the southeasterly
corner of section 75, T-9-N, R-7-W; thence due west to the west line of section 86,
T-9-N, R-7-W; thence northerly and along the section line common to said section 86
and section 83, T-9-N, R-7-W, to a common point separating property now or formerly
owned by Emanuel Nelkin, est., and Brown Paper Mill Co.; thence west and along the
line separating the above mentioned property in section 83, T-9-N, R-7-W, to the northwest
corner of the property now or formerly owned by Emanuel Nelkin, est., and lying in
said section 83; thence continuing in a westerly direction to the southeast corner
of section 25, T-9-N, R-8-W, said southeast corner of section 25 being on range line;
thence south and along said range line to the northeast corner of section 36, T-9-N,
R-8-W; thence west and along the north line of said section 36 to the northwest corner
of said section 36; thence westerly and on a continuation of the north line of said
section 36 to the east line of section 35, T-9-N, R-8-W; thence north along the east
line of sections 35 and 26 to the northeast corner of section 26; thence project said
line three (3) miles north to the north boundary of section 11, T-9-N, R-8-W, to a point approximately 0.30 miles east of the northwest corner of
said section 11; thence east approximately 0.25 miles to a point common to sections 11, 2 and 37,
T-9-N, R-8-W; thence northeasterly along the northwest boundary of section 37 to a
common point of sections 37, 2 and 1, T-9-N, R-8-W; thence north along the west line
of section 1 to the northwest corner of section 1, T-9-N, R-8-W; thence east on the
north line of section 1, T-9-N, R-8-W, and section 10, T-9-N, R-7-W, to the northwest corner of section 9, T-9-N, R-7-W; thence along a line projected southeast to the northwest corner of section 15, T-9-N, R-7-W; thence easterly along the north line of section 15 to the northeast corner of section 15, T-9-N, R-7-W; thence southeast along the east line of section 15 to the northwest corner of section 4, T-9-N, R-7-W; thence southwest to the southwest corner of section 6; thence east along the south line of section 6 to the northwest corner of section 16, T-9-N, R-7-W; thence southeast along the west line of section 16 to its intersection with the corporate limits of the City of Natchitoches; thence
southwest along the northwest corporate limits of the City of Natchitoches, to the
northwest corner thereof; thence south approximately 1.80 miles along the said corporate
limits lines to Highway No. 6; thence southeasterly along the said corporate limits
line approximately 1.75 miles to the southeasterly corner of section 75, T-9-N, R-7-W,
or point of beginning.
