§ 7-2. Director

The local disaster agency shall have a director, who shall be appointed as provided in R.S. 29:709(I), and who shall have the responsibilities provided in said section and other applicable laws and ordinances. The director shall execute and enforce such orders, rules and regulations as may be made by the governor under his lawful authority with respect to civil defense and disasters.
