§ 12-3. Vibroseis testing surveys

(a) Permit—Required. All contractors desiring to conduct Vibroseis testing surveys on or along parish roads in this parish shall obtain a permit for such testing prior to commencing said project.

(b) Same—Bond. All contractors shall be required to post a surety bond or certified check, drawn in favor of the Natchitoches Parish police jury, in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) prior to the issuance of said permit.

(c) Same—Issuance. The secretary-treasurer shall issue said permit for Vibroseis testing, provided the contractor has posted the required surety bond or check.

(d) Notice of completion. The contractor shall immediately upon completion of said survey work, notify the secretary-treasurer in writing of the completion of said testing.
