§ 1-5. Severability of parts of Code

If any section, part of a section, clause or other provision of this Code or of any code adopted by reference herein shall be held unconstitutional or for any reason shall be held invalid or void by any court of competent jurisdiction, such holding shall not affect or nullify any of the remaining provisions of this Code or of any code adopted by reference herein, but all other parts and provisions thereof, not held to be invalid or void or unconstitutional, shall remain in full force and effect.
