§ 2-101. Location; control generally

The museum shall be located at the Old Courthouse, at Natchitoches, Louisiana, and shall be controlled and governed by a board of directors consisting of thirteen (13) members, together with the president of the police jury and a representative from the City of Natchitoches, who shall be ex-officio members of said board or their designee as listed below:

(1) City of Natchitoches;

(2) Northwestern State University (NSU);

(3) Chamber of Commerce;

(4) Association for the Preservation of Historic Natchitoches (APHN);

(5) Natchitoches Historic Foundation;

(6) Natchitoches Genealogical Association;

(7) Kisatchie National Forestry (Bill Fair);

(8) St. Augustine Historical Society;

(9) Natchitoches Parish Tourist Commission;

(10) Indians—Chief Davis;

(11) Concerned Citizens of Cloutierville;

(12) Los Adaes Advisory Board;

(13) Black Heritage Committee.

Two (2) ex officio:

(1) City;

(2) Parish.
