The animal control agency of the Natchitoches Parish Police Jury as defined and/or designated in Article III, section 4-34 is hereby authorized to act on behalf of the parish in the enforcement of the provisions of state law dealing with cruelty to animals as provided in LA R.S. 14:102—102.1.
